Run your botika down to the last blister.

Stock is counted batch by batch, each lot carrying its own expiry date, and every sale draws from the box that expires soonest — so the stock that would have been thrown away is the stock that gets sold. Point of sale and inventory for small Philippine drugstores.

Free for 30 days and no card is taken. ₱799 a month after that — every branch, every till and every staff account included.

The BotikaPOS owner dashboard: takings today against yesterday, a fortnight of trading as bars, which tills are open and what should be in each drawer, the fastest-moving products, and a list of what needs attention.
The screen an owner opens in the morning. These are the figures our demo shop really took — roughly what a neighbourhood botika turns over in a day, rather than what looks impressive in an advertisement.

The shelf knows what expires first.

A general-purpose till counts how many Biogesic you have. This one counts which box, bought on which delivery, expiring in which month, at what it cost you. That is the difference between knowing your stock and knowing what it is worth.

  • Ninety days’ warning, while there is still time to send it back to the supplier.
  • Every batch traced to the supplier and the delivery it arrived on.
  • Disposal recorded with a reason, so what you lost is a number instead of a mystery.

Three keystrokes and the sale is done.

Type, press Enter, press F8. The register was written for a queue on a Saturday afternoon, so it runs from the keyboard and never makes a cashier hunt for anything with a mouse. A barcode gun goes straight into the cart, and when the gun dies mid-queue the camera reads the barcode instead.

  • The brand and its generic come up together, so a cashier can offer the cheaper box without looking anything up.
  • Prescription items are flagged before the total, not after the customer has their wallet out.
  • Part cash, part GCash, one receipt.
The BotikaPOS register: a search for Losartan showing the branded Lifezar beside the cheaper RiteMed generic, both marked Rx and VAT-exempt, with a basket and its running total on the right.
Searching for Losartan: the branded box and the generic at half the price, side by side, both flagged Rx and VAT-exempt before anyone reaches the total. This is the counter screen — the register wants a keyboard, not a phone.

What you have taken today against yesterday, which till is open and what should be sitting in its drawer, what is moving, and what needs attention. Built to load on a phone on mobile data, because a phone on mobile data is where it gets looked at.

Two branches or five, it is the same screen — pick one from the top, or leave it showing all of them.

Written for the rules you actually work under.

Not a general-purpose till with a pharmacy label on the box. These are the parts that come out wrong in software written for a sari-sari store, and they come out wrong in a way that costs money rather than convenience.

Senior citizen and PWD discounts

Twenty percent comes off a VAT-free base, not off the shelf price with the VAT still inside it. The difference is a few pesos a sale and the whole of your exposure if a claim is ever reviewed. The ID number, the holder’s name and the booklet number are kept against the sale.

RA 9994 · RA 10754

VAT-exempt maintenance medicines

Medicines for diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol ring up exempt and are totalled apart from your vatable sales, so the two never have to be untangled afterwards.

RA 11467

A prescription log that names a person

An Rx item records the prescriber, the prescription and the pharmacist who released it — under their own PRC licence number, not the owner’s. A pharmacist signs for what a pharmacist dispensed.

RA 10918

Lot and expiry on every batch

The traceability a drugstore is expected to be able to produce on request, kept as a matter of course rather than reconstructed from a folder of delivery receipts on the day somebody asks.

About BIR receipts — the honest version.

BotikaPOS will not print you a document headed OFFICIAL RECEIPT until you hold a Permit to Use for it. Plenty of software will. Issuing an unregistered receipt carries a penalty under Section 264 of the Tax Code, and it falls on the drugstore owner — not on whoever sold them the system.

So a new shop starts in internal-control mode, which RR 10-99 expressly allows: complete sales records, X and Z readings, shift reconciliation — everything you need to run the place and to reconcile against the registered invoices you go on issuing. When your Permit to Use comes through, you tell us, and the receipt switches on.

If that reads as a limitation, it is one. It is also the only arrangement that does not quietly make the penalty yours.

799 a month.

That is the whole price, and you did not have to book a call to find it out.

No per-branch fee, no per-till fee, no setup fee, nothing extra for adding a cashier. No contract to serve out either — stop any month you like, and your sales history and stock records leave with you.

Nothing is charged during the trial and no card is taken. We ask once, near the end, whether you want to carry on.

  • Batch and expiry tracking, first-expiry-first-out

What is still being built.

Better you read this here than find it in your second week.

Being built nowSelling with the internet down
Today the register needs a connection. If the line drops or the power goes, the till goes with it. Offline selling that syncs when you come back is the next thing on the bench — but it is not here yet, and a brownout is not a hypothetical.
Not planned yetAn online store
No web shop, no delivery app, no marketplace listings. BotikaPOS is the counter and the stockroom. If you sell through Facebook now, you will still be doing that yourself.
Waiting on your paperworkBIR-registered receipts
We cannot obtain your Permit to Use, and we will not print around it. Until it comes through you run in internal-control mode — which is complete, and which is the arrangement the law actually provides for.

Open an account and ring up a sale today.

Five fields, about a minute. Your shop, your first branch and your owner account are created together, so the register works the moment you are in — there is nothing to set up before you can sell something.
